Show-Ready
Isn't Just
Clean.

We prep cars for the Lakeshore circuit the way we'd prep our own — because most weekends, we're standing next to yours at the same show.

The Difference

A Wash Isn't
Prep.

Anyone can run a car through a wash bay the morning of a show. What actually holds up under a judge's flashlight — or a fellow owner leaning in close — is different: swirl-free paint, engine bay detail, and the small stuff nobody thinks to check until it's pointed out. That's what our show prep package covers.

The Inspection

What We Actually
Check.

The same list our own technicians run before their own cars go on a trailer.

Paint & Body

Swirl and light-scratch correction, panel gap check, badge and emblem alignment.

Engine Bay

Degreased, dressed, and checked for the kind of small leaks that show up as a stain on show-field asphalt.

Interior

Upholstery conditioned, glass streak-free, and every panel gap and stitch line checked against original spec.

Undercarriage

Cleaned and inspected — because a good judge will get down on the ground to look, and so should you before they do.

Timing It Right

Book Around Your
Show Calendar.

1 Week Out

Full Inspection

We check for anything that could cost you points or, worse, leave you stranded on the drive down — fluid levels, belts, tire wear, and lights.

3–4 Days Out

Correction & Detail

Paint correction, engine bay detailing, and interior work — enough time for anything to cure or settle before the show.

48–72 Hours Out

Final Polish & Walk-Around

A last pass on paint and chrome, plus a full walk-around with you so nothing gets missed once it's under show lighting.

Show Day

Ready to Unload and Set Up

Roll it off the trailer and set up — no last-minute wiping down or wondering what a judge might notice first.

See You Out There

We Show Up, Too.

Sam and a few of our technicians run their own builds on the same Lakeshore circuit — which is why this list isn't theoretical. It's the same one we use on our own cars before we trailer them out on a Saturday morning.

"I used to spend the Thursday night before every show detailing in my garage until midnight. Now I drop it off Monday and pick it up Friday, ready to go. Worth every dollar."

— Anthony D., Windsor, 1970 Chevelle SS
